Aim and Scope PRResearch is a peer-reviewed, international, multidisciplinary journal covering all research topics of interest to physicists and researchers in related fields. It complements other titles in the portfolio by offering an option for authors across the physics community who value and trust the publishing experience and quality of Physical Review journals, and also want or need to publish in a fully open access publication. Among the open access titles published by APS, PRResearch will complement Physical Review X (PRX), which has a similarly broad scope but is extremely selective as the highest impact, fully open access, multidisciplinary physics journal in the world. The open access publishing model supports the goals of the journal—to broadly disseminate high-quality research from all of physics, the physical sciences, and interdisciplinary areas to a global audience, with the intention of initiating conversations across traditional boundaries, facilitating new opportunities for collaboration, and enabling future discoveries. By advancing and disseminating scientific research and discovery, promoting physics, and serving the broader physics community, PRResearch will directly support the mission of APS.
