Abstract
Resumen:
El artículo se dedica al desarrollo del enfoque interdisciplinario de la Poética Cognitiva y la Traductología. En los dos primeros apartados se analiza la relación de las dos ciencias y se caracteriza el aparato conceptual, los objetivos y las posibilidades del análisis cognitivo en la traducción. En el tercer apartado se realiza un estudio de caso de la categoría cognitiva y estilística de la ambigüedad y su traducción en la obra de J. L. Borges.

Cognitive Poetics and Translation: An Analysis of Borges’ Translation into Ukrainian and English
Abstract:
The article is focused on the development of the interdisciplinary approach of Cognitive Poetics and Translation Studies. The first two sections present the relationship of both fields, their theoretical basis, their objectives and the possibilities of the cognitive analysis in translation. The third section describes the case study of the cognitive and stylistic category of ambiguity and its translation in the artistic works of J.L.Borges.
