Abstract
The concept of green corridors network (GCN) is an innovative legal tool because it underlines the importance of keeping connected ecosystems, protected or not. But the lack of precision on how it must be implemented and the fact that GCN are not opposable dramatically reduce the effectiveness and the durability of this tool. The current dispositive shows serious juridical lacks although there are ambitious proposals based on the application of the concept of green corridors network such as to mutualise ecological offsets resulting from new infrastructures implantations.
