Abstract
Este artículo intenta analizar las relaciones de Pakistán con la India en el contexto de la evolución de las relaciones exteriores y la creciente integración económica mundial de esta última. El autor pone de relieve las cuestiones fundamentales relativas a la difícil relación diplomática entre Pakistán y la India. Aunque la India parece tener la voluntad de superar un patrón de animosidad histórica con China, el autor sugiere que es poco probable que las relaciones de India con Pakistán mejoren en el largo plazo. El autor también sugiere que la cuestión de Cachemira, que parece intratable, se interpondrá en el camino de una mejora a largo plazo en las relaciones de Pakistán con la India.
