Abstract
Глаголы являются самой древней, исконной частью речи тюркских языков, которая сохранилась в наиболее чистом виде. И большая часть их состоит из одного слога. В статье рассматриваются морфемы çal-/ çak- ; kas- ; çat- , использующиеся в гагаузском языке, в аспекте сравнения с другими тюркскими языками. Именно этот метод создает возможность найти праформы исследуемых морфем и показать эволюцию семантики глаголов. В ходе исследования морфем выявляются их праформы, их семантические гнезда и их этимологи я, a также делается попытка этимологизации выражения kulak as- .
