Abstract
These last ten years, web applicationshave gained ascendency over the consumersociety as shown by the success of iTunesand the increase of podcasting. The academicworld, particularly in the field oflanguage teaching, could take advantage ofthis massive use of audio files. The creationand the diffusion of customized ad hocaudio files and the broadcast of these resourcesthrough educational podcasts addressthe upcoming challenges of a knowledgebased society. Teaching and learningwith audio files also meet the recommendationsof the European Higher EducationArea (EHEA). This paper will provide languageteachers, especially French teachers,with the tools to create, edit, upload andplay their own audio files. No specific computerskills are required.
