Abstract
Bu çalışma 2011-2012 yılları arasında, Mustafa Kemal Üniversitesi Tayfur Sökmen Kampüsü ve çevresinde (Serinyol Beldesi, Alahan ve Zülüflühan Köyleri) bulunan bitki taksonlarının (doğal, kültür ve egzotik) etnobotanik açıdan değerlendirilmesine dayanmaktadır. Bu çalışma kapsamında araştırma alanında, 28 familyaya ait 43 taksondan 65 yöresel kullanım tespit edilmiştir. Bu yöresel kullanımların 26’si gıda, 8’i tıbbi, 6’sı baharat, 4’ü yakacak olarak ve diğer 21’i ise farklı amaçlar için kullanılmaktadır. Çalışma alanında etnobotanik özelliği olan bu bitkilerin hangi kısımlarından yararlanıldığı ve bu bitkilere ait yöresel isimler de ayrıca vurgulanmıştır
