Abstract
The purpose of this study were: (1) To development of learning activities with
metacognitive strategies in combination with a series of learning activities. Subject: The
historical development of Thailand, Ayutthaya period, for students in primary grade five. The
Banlakor School effective meets the 80/80 criteria. (2) To study the effectiveness index
of learning. Subject: The historical development of Thailand, Ayutthaya period, for students
in primary grade five with metacognitive strategies in combination with a series of learning
activities. (3) To study the development of metacognition of students in primary grade five
learning by metacognitive strategies in combination with a series of learning activities. (4)
To compare the cognitive abilities of metacognition of students in primary grade five learning by metacognitive strategies in combination with a series of learning activities against
the criteria number 70 percent. The sample used in this research, are students in primary
grade five, the Banlakor School 15 people. It is derived from cluster random sampling. The
instruments used in the research were: (1) Plan learning activities 8 plan, the total time of 16 hours. (2) Metacognitive strategies in combination with a series of learning activities.
Subject: The historical development of Thailand, Ayutthaya period, for students in primary
grade five number 8 sets. (3) Achievement test, it is a 4 choice answer, number 30 items.
The discriminative power of clause (B) is 0.22-0.83 and the whole issue of confidence was
0.82 and (4) Evaluating the ability of metacognition. The statistics used in data analysis were
percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test, one sample test.
The results of the study were as follows:
1. Learning activities with metacognitive strategies in combination with a series of
learning activities. Subject: The historical development of Thailand, Ayutthaya period, for
students in primary grade five. The Banlakor School effective is 85.48 / 83.78, according
to the criteria 80/80 presets.
2. The effectiveness index of learning. Subject: The historical development of Thailand,
Ayutthaya period, for students in primary grade five, the activities with metacognitive
strategies in combination with a series of learning activities is equal to 0.6932 0.6932,
indicating that the students had the academic progress of 69.32%.
3. Students in primary grade five who learned by metacognitive strategies in
combination with a series of learning activities. Develop metacognitive skills overall were at a
good level. Metacognitive abilities in each learning management plan showed that students
had a higher average overall development.
4. Students in primary grade five who learned by metacognitive strategies in
combination with a series of learning activities, have capable of metacognition, compared
with 70 percent criterion test, level of statistical significance .05.
In conclusion, organizing to learning activities with metacognitive strategies in
combination with a series of learning activities, efficient and enhance learning, the ability
metacognition, planning, self-direction and the evaluation increased. Therefore, should
encourage the instructor to bring learning to the application of the relevant parts to achieve
more success.
