Abstract
Bu çalışmada sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının kesirlerle çıkarma işlemi ile ilgili verilen bir duruma uygun olarak kurdukları problemlerin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma 2018-19 güz döneminde bir devlet üniversitesinin sınıf öğretmenliği üçüncü sınıfında öğrenim gören 74 öğretmen adayı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarından kesirlerle çıkarma işlemine yönelik paydaları eşit olmayan bir basit kesirden bir basit kesrin çıkarılmasını örnekleyen sadece 3/5-3/
