Abstract
The molten salt synthesis currently represents a major opportunity for development of research focused on materials science, part of the importance it has acquired over the years was due to its flexibility and ease of processing. Compared with the conventional solid state reaction method, molten salt synthesis allows better diffusion of reactive species, which translate in the use of lower times and reaction temperatures; in addition, allows greater control over the size and particle shape.
