Abstract
El artículo argumenta sobre la necesidad de realizar investigaciones para el ordenamiento territorial que incluyan el tema de la percepción del riesgo y el concepto de riesgo aceptable, en zonas susceptibles a deslizamientos, con el fin de evitar limitaciones o atrasos en el desarrollo socioeconómico de la comunidad. Además, presenta la experiencia de la Comisión Nacional de Prevención de Riesgos y Atención de Emergencias (CNE) en la realización de un estudio sobre la susceptibilidad a la ocurrencia de deslizamientos en Paraíso de Chánguena de Buenos Aires, Puntarenas The article argues about the need of investigating the set of laws for lands which include the topic of risk perception and the concept of acceptable risk in zones susceptible to landslides to avoid limitations or delays in the socioeconomic development of the community. It also presents the experience of the National Commission of Risk Prevention and Emergency Response (Comisión Nacional de Prevención de Riesgos y Atención de Emergencias - CNE) in developing a study about susceptibility to the occurrence of landslides in Paraíso de Chánguena, Buenos Aires, Puntarenas
