Abstract
The features of the use of media in political conflicts, and wars of national interests of states. In particular, to analyze the position and role of the TV channel «Al Jazeera» in covering the events of the «Arab Spring». The authors notes that in the context of contemporary world politics global public opinion is formed basically most influential mass media owned by large corporations.
