Abstract
Se presentan y discuten críticamente las opiniones de Karl Popper acerca de la tecnología. Primero se estudia la relación establecida por Popper entre ciencia básica, ciencia aplicada y tecnología, y se hacen de paso algunas aclaraciones conceptuales. Luego se examina el lugar de la tecnología en el marco de la filosofía popperiana de la sociedad y la historia. Finalmente se destacan algunos problemas en relación con la teoría popperiana de los “tres mundos” y el lugar de la tecnología en ella.
