The state identifies several key characteristics of modern investment policy in China, such as the constant revision and change of the list of industries to which investment infusion is desirable, limited and prohibited that indicates the transition from quantitative growth of attracted investments to qualitative; a shift from preferential investment policy to the equitable one; establishment and operation of a variety of special economic zones. The results of the research can be applied in both the theoretical and practical sections because the positive experience of China may be useful not only for Ukraine but also for any other developing country.
