Abstract
In the Hispanic Baroque the developed worldview assumed that life was a constant spiritual warfare. This perception was based on the concepts of love and violence. Likewise, this understanding was incorporated into politics, in which the previous concepts were developed in various ways. The war in its different formulations can inform us of the political variants developed between the love and the violence during the Hispanic Baroque.
