Nueva estela decorada procedente de El Viso (Córdoba)

RESUMEN: El artículo nos ofrece el estudio de una estela inédita hallada en El Viso (Córdoba). La estela se sitúa cronológicamente en la fase orientalizante antigua probablemente en el siglo Vil a. J.C., y geográficamente en la región del suroeste de la Península. Los escudos sin escotadura y la ausencia de cascos en los guerreros concretan más su área de dispersión entre el Guadiana y el Guadalquivir. Los motivos representados denotan una procedencia de Oriente con una expansión hacia la Península Ibérica a través del Mediterráneo.

ABSTRACT: The article offers us the study of a unique trail found in El Viso (Córdoba). The trail is situated chronologically around ancient times probably in the VII century B. C , and geographically in the region of the southwest of the Peninsula. The smooth shields and the absence of helmets on the warriors fix their area of dispersion morebetween the Guadiana and the Guadalquivir. The motifs represented indicate that they proceeded from the Orient, extending towards the Iberian Peninsula across the Mediterranean.
