Abstract
هدفت الدراسة للتعرف على العلاقة بين القدرة المكانية والتحصيل في مادة الرياضيات لدى طلاب الصف الثالث الثانوي العلمي بمدارس محافظة المهرة، واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتمثلت الأداة في اختبار القدرة المكانية من إعداد الباحث تم تطبيقه على عينة عشوائية عنقودية بلغ عددها (200) طالبا وطالبة للعام 2020-2021م، وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة بلغت (0.51) وتعكس معامل ارتباط (كبيرة) بين درجات الطلبة في اختبار القدرة المكانية ودرجاتهم في تحصيل مادة الرياضيات، كما توجد فروق دالة إحصائية عند مستوى (α≤0.05) بين متوسطي القدرة المكانية في الرياضيات لدى طلبة الصف الثالث الثانوي القسم العلمي ترجع لمتغير الجنس ولصالح الإناث، وتوجد فروق دالة إحصائية عند مستوى (α≤0.01) في القدرة المكانية لدى طلاب الصف الثالث ثانوي تعزى لمتغير التحصيل (مرتفع – متوسط – منخفض) لصالح فئة التحصيل المرتفع على فئتي التحصيل المتوسط والمنخفض، ولصالح فئة التحصيل المتوسط على فئة التحصيل المنخفض، واستنادا للنتائج أوصى الباحث بضرورة زيادة الاهتمام والتركيز على القدرة المكانية في تدريس مادة الرياضيات، إضافة إلى مقترحات بدراسات مستقبلية في الموضوع.
