Abstract
Abstract This article examines two documentaries about the Colony Park real estate conflict in the Low Paraná River Delta archipelago: a documentary in which a photographer has gradually been received into an island community, and a found-footage film that redirects Colony Park’s own promotional archive against itself. Presenting the concept of hospitable listening, the article argues that both films enact diplomatic postures to address this river island conflict.
