Abstract
O presente trabalho se propõe a apresentar uma proposta de ensino-aprendizagem no contexto digital, desenvolvida a partir de teorias pautadas na Linguística Cognitiva, nos estudos de Aquisição de Segunda Língua e na inguística Aplicada. O aporte teórico fundamentou a criação de um ambiente
digital que visa, principalmente, ao incentivo do uso da literatura ao ensino da Língua Inglesa. O mote da construção da proposta foi a obra The old man and the sea, de Ernest Hemingway, com o objetivo de promover o uso real da língua, possibilitando um espaço interativo e dinâmico, tanto para aprendizes autônomos quanto para aqueles que têm a mediação de um professor na sala de aula
regular. Partindo do contexto de ensino-aprendizagem de língua inglesa no ensino público brasileiro, a sugestão de atividades online aspira, acima de tudo, um direcionamento pedagógico de ensino de segunda língua coerente com o perfil do aluno na sociedade tecnológica digital.
