Abstract
Este estudio presenta las ediciones y traducciones que se han hecho, en las distintas lenguas de la geografía Española, de El Viejo y el Mar, desde su publicación en 1952. El análisis de The Old Man and the Sea y de algunas de sus traducciones al castellano nos permiten mostrar si el lector español, que en su mayor parte ha accedido a esta obra de Hemingway a través de sus traducciones, ha podido y puede aproximarse a las diferentes lecturas del hermoso texto original de Hemingway.
