Abstract
هدفت الدراسة إلى استقصاء أسباب عزوف خريجي كلية التربية بمحافظة المهرة عن العمل في التدريس من وجهة نظرهم، وأثر متغيرات (الجنس، العمل في التدريس، التخصص، سنوات الخبرة) في تقديراتهم، واعتمدت المنهج الوصفي التحليلي المسحي باستخدام استبانة إلكترونية (25 عبارة) طبقت على عينة عشوائية بلغت (102) من الخريجين العازفين. وأظهرت النتائج أن الدرجة الكلية لأسباب العزوف جاءت بمتوسط (3.38 من 5) وبتأثير (متوسط)، وجاءت المجالات مرتبة: 1-الأسباب الاقتصادية (3.66)، 2-الاجتماعية (3.56)، 3-بيئة العمل (3.51) وجميعها بتقدير (كبير)، 4-الأكاديمية (3.28) 5-الشخصية (2.88)؛ وكلاهما بتقدير (متوسط). كما كشفت النتائج عدم وجود فروق إحصائية عند (α≤0.05) تعزى للجنس أو الخبرة، بينما وجدت فروق لصالح من سبق لهم العمل في التدريس في محور بيئة العمل، ولصالح تخصص اللغة الإنجليزية في المجالات (الاقتصادية، الشخصية، المستوى الكلي). وبناءً عليه، أوصت الدراسة بتحسين الرواتب ومنح علاوات، توفير سكن ونقل مجاني، وإطلاق حملات وطنية لتعزيز مكانة لمعلم مجتمعياً، مع ضرورة تحسين البيئة المدرسية لتعزيز جاذبيتها، إضافة إلى مقترحات بدراسات مستقبلية في الموضوع.
