Abstract
In the contemporary era, social media, when utilized with responsibility and a constructive outlook, possesses the potential to serve as a highly influential instrument for societal development. Within the framework of Allama Iqbal’s intellectual legacy, the positive role of social media can be understood across multiple dimensions.  Iqbal consistently emphasized the recognition of selfhood, the elevation of thought and action, and the promotion of collective welfare. His vision was deeply rooted in the advancement of knowledge, the strengthening of national unity, the preservation of moral values, and the cultivation of creative capacities in diverse domains such as literature, poetry, fine arts, and technology. If social media is engaged in accordance with these guiding principles, it may emerge as a constructive and transformative force for social progress.
