Abstract
Abstract Relapsing cytomegalovirus DNAemia remains a challenge after organ transplantation. We evaluated longitudinal viral loads and T cell responses in 62 recipients, of whom 15 relapsed. Week 2 viral loads, but not viral decay slopes or HCMV-specific T cell responses differed by relapse status, supporting further evaluation of early viral burden.
