Abstract
Abstract In this supplement, we are pleased to present the abstracts from the 2026 St. Jude/PIDS Pediatric Infectious Diseases Conference. The meeting continues to draw participants from around the world, showcasing the importance of pediatric infectious diseases in global health, the remarkable reach of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the opportunity for PIDS to engage our international colleagues in our educational and research programs. The meeting, which is typically held during the first week of March each year, continues to be the flagship pediatric infectious diseases conference in the US, focusing on transplant ID, global health, general pediatric infectious diseases research, and career development. We continue to improve and adapt the meeting based on the changing needs of our trainees, the feedback we received, and the desire to deepen community within our respective specialties within Pediatric ID. This year, look for even more integration between the topic areas, while also providing time for our research, global health, and transplant ID communities to have dedicated time together. The 2027 St. Jude/PIDS Conference is scheduled for March 3-7, 2027. Whether you have been a regular attendee or you have not attended in some time, we want this meeting to be one that becomes your go-to conference for PIDS. We particularly encourage students, residents, and fellows to attend and become engaged in the work and mission of PIDS. We will look forward to seeing everyone in Memphis in 2027!
