Abstract
This commentary offers two constructive methodological suggestions to Williams and colleagues study on carbon emissions from skin cancer procedures. It highlights that excluding histopathology and local anaesthetics may underestimate the carbon footprint, and that using non cohort patient travel data warrants careful sensitivity analysis, supported by recent literature.
