Abstract
We comment on the recent study by Yen et al. describing the clinical characteristics and treatment outcomes of chromoblastomycosis in northern Taiwan. While acknowledging the study's contribution, we highlight several methodological limitations, including the small sample size, heterogeneous treatment strategies, limited follow-up, single-center design, and insufficient evaluation of hepatitis B and immunosuppression.
