Abstract
We submit a brief methodological comment on Silverberg et al. regarding the interpretation of long-term maintenance of response with lebrikizumab in atopic dermatitis. While the study provides valuable 104-week data, the responder-enriched, as-observed design may limit generalisability to the overall treated population and potentially overestimate durability due to selection and missing data mechanisms. We suggest that these considerations be taken into account when interpreting long-term effectiveness estimates.
