Abstract
Abstract This article briefly addresses the desirability and feasibility of the preparation of a uniform law on security interests in digital assets, data and other electronic assets by UNCITRAL. Building on the various existing soft-law texts on the subject, the article suggest ways in which the UNCITRAL Model Law on Secured Transactions could be updated to address these newly developed types of assets.
