Abstract
Abstract A substantial proportion of people with HIV and established atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) meet criteria for extreme cardiovascular risk, yet low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) target achievement remains markedly suboptimal. Bridging the gap between updated guideline recommendations and real-world practice is essential to reduce recurrent ASCVD in this high-risk population.
