Abstract
We read with interest the recent report by Silverberg et al. describing sustained skin and itch responses with lebrikizumab over 2 years in patients with atopic dermatitis. While acknowledging the importance of these long-term findings, we discuss methodological considerations regarding the interpretation of “stable disease control,” particularly in the context of responder-enriched analyses and operational definitions of treatment stability. We suggest that the findings may be more appropriately interpreted as evidence of durability among early responders rather than broad long-term disease stability.
