Abstract
We present the implementation of a service development framework for biologic biosimilars in patients with refractory pyoderma gangrenosum, developed following a review of available efficacy, safety and cost data. This approach enables earlier access to effective treatment while reducing reliance on prolonged conventional immunosuppression and associated potential healthcare burden. Our model provides a pragmatic framework to improve access to biologic therapies in rare inflammatory skin disease.
