Abstract
Chikungunya vaccine recommendations remain controversial. CHIK-LA has lost its US approval. Adequate data on human vaccine efficacy for either vaccine is lacking. Live virus vaccines have inherent risks. Given early safety signals, for CHIK-LA a robust human safety dataset is lacking.
