Abstract
Lay Summary Glioblastoma is an aggressive brain tumor that is often monitored with MRI scans after it is found. The authors of this study wanted to see whether a standardized MRI scoring system called BT-RADS could help predict how patients are functioning and how long the tumor stays under control. To do this, they reviewed MRI reports and health records from 94 adults with glioblastoma and compared BT-RADS scores at about three and nine months with later patient functioning scores and tumor growth. Their results showed that lower BT-RADS scores were linked with better functioning scores and a lower chance of tumor growth during follow-up.
