Abstract
This study investigates the impact of knowledge application and fintech innovation on the performance of banks in Pakistan, considering the moderating role of organizational culture. Utilizing a quantitative research approach, data were collected from 230 bank employees via a 23 item-structured survey instrument. The results reveal that Knowledge Application significantly influences fintech innovation and both knowledge application and fintech innovation positively affect bank performance. Organizational culture significantly moderates the relationship between knowledge application and fintech innovation, amplifying its impact. The mediation analysis confirms that fintech innovation mediates the relationship between knowledge application and bank performance across different levels of organizational culture, supporting the proposed moderated mediation hypothesis. These findings underscore the importance of integrating knowledge application and embracing fintech innovations to enhance banking performance, while also highlighting the complex role of organizational culture in these dynamics. The study contributes to the understanding of how banks can leverage these factors to achieve better performance outcomes in the context of a developing economy like Pakistan.
