Abstract
In recent years, renewable energy technologies have witnessed significant advancements, driven by rapid innovations in science, engineering, and supportive policies. This paper delves into the intersections of these domains, highlighting the evolution of renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind, and hydropower. We examine the role of engineering innovations in improving the efficiency and scalability of renewable systems and explore how government policies, both local and international, are shaping the future of energy production. Through case studies from Pakistan and a broader global perspective, the study provides insights into the challenges and opportunities that arise at the nexus of renewable energy, science, engineering, and policy. Ultimately, the paper advocates for stronger integration between these areas to address the global energy crisis and climate change.
