Abstract
Climate change has emerged as one of the most pressing global challenges of the 21st century. The socioeconomic implications of climate change are profound, affecting a wide range of sectors, including agriculture, health, energy, and infrastructure. This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the socio-economic impacts of climate change, with a focus on its influence on vulnerable communities in Pakistan. We explore the link between climate change and economic disparities, as well as the social consequences of these environmental shifts. By examining key climate-induced challenges, we aim to propose actionable recommendations for mitigating these impacts and enhancing adaptive capacity at the national level.
