Abstract
Supply chain integration is vital for achieving competitive advantage and operational efficiency in today’s globalized market. The rapid advancement of technology has transformed traditional supply chain operations, enabling seamless connectivity and real-time information sharing among partners. This paper investigates the role of technology in enhancing supply chain integration with an emphasis on Pakistani industries. Key technologies such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, and cloud computing are explored for their impact on coordination, visibility, and responsiveness in supply chains. The study presents a structured framework outlining technological interventions and their benefits in reducing operational costs, improving demand forecasting, and strengthening supplier relationships. Empirical data and case studies from Pakistani manufacturing and retail sectors highlight challenges and opportunities in technological adoption. The paper concludes with strategic recommendations for firms to leverage technology for sustainable supply chain integration.
