Abstract
Big data has become a significant factor in reshaping how governments create and implement public policies. As we advance into the 21st century, the use of data analytics has altered the traditional decision-making frameworks. This article explores the role of big data in public policy, specifically focusing on its impact on policy development, governance, and public service delivery. By examining case studies from Pakistan and internationally, we analyze how big data supports evidence-based policymaking, enhances transparency, and drives accountability. The article discusses both the opportunities and challenges that come with integrating big data into public policy processes, highlighting the need for robust data governance, ethical considerations, and data privacy concerns.
