Abstract
This paper explores the emergence and evolution of existential themes in modern Urdu poetry. Drawing upon philosophical concepts of existentialism, the study examines how poets express personal freedom, alienation, absurdity, and the quest for meaning in an uncertain world. Through textual analysis of selected poems, the research highlights the shift from traditional metaphysical concerns to individual-centered existential reflections in contemporary Urdu verse.
