Abstract
This research article explores the evolving theme of environmental consciousness in Urdu literature. From classical poetry to modern fiction, Urdu writers have captured the delicate relationship between humans and nature. The article focuses on how ecological awareness, sustainability, and environmental ethics are reflected in poems, short stories, and novels. By analyzing symbolic imagery, thematic depth, and narrative structures, this study highlights the literary responsibility of Urdu writers in addressing the environmental crisis
