Abstract
This research explores the evolving theme of migration in Urdu short stories from Ismat Chughtai and Qurratulain Hyder (Anee Apa) to contemporary writers. The study investigates how partition, displacement, exile, and identity crises are reflected through character development, narrative structure, and emotional depth. The paper also analyzes the stylistic diversity and socio-political layers present in the portrayal of migration.
