Abstract
Wearable devices and real-time monitoring technologies are transforming the way healthcare is delivered by enabling continuous tracking of vital parameters, predictive analytics, and personalized interventions. Medisense, an AI-driven digital health platform, integrates wearable device data with advanced monitoring systems to improve patient outcomes, reduce hospital burdens, and empower individuals to actively manage their health. This paper examines four key dimensions of wearable integration in Medisense: monitoring chronic diseases, enabling AI-driven emergency alerts, enhancing patient engagement, and addressing ethical and infrastructural challenges. Graphical evidence highlights the adoption of wearables, improvements in clinical accuracy, patient participation, and ethical barriers. The study concludes that wearable technologies, when supported by robust governance frameworks, can significantly strengthen Pakistan’s healthcare systems.
