Abstract
Data security and trust remain critical challenges in the digitization of healthcare systems. Platforms such as Medisense, which integrate artificial intelligence, big data, and wearable devices, generate vast amounts of sensitive patient information. Traditional systems often struggle with data breaches, lack of transparency, and fragmented access control. Blockchain technology offers a promising solution by ensuring decentralized storage, immutable records, and transparent verification of transactions. This paper examines the applications of blockchain in Medisense through four dimensions: safeguarding patient records, enabling secure interoperability, strengthening trust through transparency, and addressing regulatory and infrastructural challenges. Graphical evidence highlights adoption trends, improvements in security, trust-building mechanisms, and the ethical concerns that remain. The findings suggest that blockchain, if carefully integrated, can enhance data protection and foster greater patient trust in digital healthcare systems in Pakistan.
