Abstract
Telemedicine has emerged as a transformative solution in the management of chronic diseases, offering improved access to care, increased patient engagement, and potential cost savings. This systematic review evaluates the effectiveness of telemedicine interventions in chronic disease management, with a focus on diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and chronic respiratory conditions. We reviewed studies published between 2010 and 2025, assessing clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness. The findings suggest that telemedicine interventions lead to improved disease management, better clinical outcomes, and enhanced patient satisfaction, particularly when combined with remote monitoring and personalized care. However, challenges related to technology access, digital literacy, and regulatory issues remain. This review highlights the need for further research on the long-term sustainability of telemedicine and its integration into healthcare systems
