Abstract
The influence of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) on the development of modern judicial systems in Islamic countries is a subject of ongoing debate and scholarly investigation. This study explores the significant role that Islamic legal principles have played in shaping contemporary judicial systems in Muslim-majority nations. By examining historical developments and current legal frameworks, the article discusses how Islamic fiqh has contributed to the formation of judicial policies, legal norms, and the balance between Shariah law and secular legal systems in modern states. The paper uses a qualitative approach, analyzing various case studies to illustrate the dynamic interaction between Islamic law and modern legal practices.
