Abstract
This research paper explores the concept of justice (Adl) in Islam as derived from the Qur’an and Sunnah. Justice is not only a social principle but a divine command deeply embedded in the moral and legal framework of Islamic thought. The paper discusses the multifaceted nature of Islamic justice — spiritual, legal, social, and economic — and evaluates its role in maintaining balance and harmony within human societies. By examining Qur’anic verses and Prophetic traditions, the study highlights that Islamic justice ensures equality before law, protection of rights, and accountability before God. The findings reveal that justice is the cornerstone of governance and human interaction in Islam, establishing peace, fairness, and moral responsibility.
