Abstract
This dissertation paper encompasses the various features of Naat recitation. This abstract highlights the literal as well as the contextual meaning of the art of Naat recitation. Naat is another name for the praise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Naatiya poetry refers to the poetry in which the position, character, and virtues of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) are mentioned. This topic is related to the benefaction of humanity's love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH), which is part of faith. The Sufis have also played a significant role in developing the genre of recitation. The festival of Milad-ul-Nabi (PBUH) and Naatiya Mushairas in the holy month of Ramadan gave rise to this genre. The prevailing trends of Naat, along with the origin of Naat recitation, have been minutely discussed in the given abstract. The emotions and feelings of Naat saying poets have been described with full intellectual vigour in this article. This paper upholds the work of several poets in Arab and Dakan culture who made their mark in Naat recitation. The impact of the Persian language on the Urdu language regarding the art of Naat skill has also been elaborated in the given abstract; moreover, the everlasting role of mystic poets has also been a hallmark of this publication. The exalted figures like Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Altaf Hussain Hali, Hafeez Jahangir, and Molana Zafar Ali have earned an unprecedented name in the genre of Naat recitation. In the 02th century, the genre of the Naat-goi got a lot of development. The Urdu poets have a true love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The poet's love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) can be well estimated from their exemplary speech.
