Abstract
The rapid advancement of digital payment technologies and artificial intelligence has fundamentally transformed the operational dynamics of e-commerce platforms. This study empirically investigates the impact of digital wallets, mobile-first payment solutions, and AI-enabled systems on transaction efficiency, customer satisfaction, and security performance within e-commerce ecosystems. Employing a mixed-methods experimental research design, the study integrates quantitative analysis of transaction-level performance indicators with qualitative insights from industry practices. The results reveal that digital wallet adoption significantly improves transaction efficiency and payment accuracy, while mobile-centric payment infrastructures enhance customer satisfaction and operational scalability. Furthermore, the findings demonstrate a strong positive relationship between AI integration and fraud reduction effectiveness, highlighting the critical role of machine learning and predictive analytics in real-time risk management. Platforms utilizing advanced security mechanisms, including biometric authentication and tokenization, exhibit higher transaction success rates and greater consumer trust. The integrated performance assessment confirms that the combined adoption of AI-driven analytics and digital payment technologies delivers superior overall outcomes compared to traditional payment systems. These findings underscore the strategic importance of intelligent digital payment ecosystems in driving efficiency, security, and competitiveness in e-commerce. The study offers valuable implications for policymakers, platform providers, and retailers seeking to leverage emerging financial technologies for sustainable digital transformation.
