Abstract
Fath al-Bari’s is an explanation book of Sahih al-Bukhari, and indeed it is a valuable treasure, as it is a comprehensive book of Islamic sciences and at the same time a best book of Arabic language. So when its explain the noble Ḥadīths, it includes jurisprudence, language aspects, Arabic grammar, its morphology, rhetoric and it contains sermons, proverbs and all those methods which were used by the Arab writers to express and explain their purposes and the meanings of the words. Indeed these great aspects makes this book worthy and valuable book, which in fact received a great attention of the scholars and researchers, especially the rhetoric portion of this book, which in fact the largest part of this book, and that’s why it got special attention. No doubt that, the revelation of Asqalani’s genius influenced the understanding of Arabic rhetoric and it shows that how he rhetorically analyzed the noble Ḥadīth texts, explaining its secrets and how it deals with the human soul in its inner emotions, sentiments, instincts and tendencies, in a book that is considered one of the souls and the greatest book of Ḥadīth explanation is Fateh Al-Bari’s.
