Abstract
The Islamic world is more democratic after 1980s because of disruption of many authoritarian regimes in the world and the probe about the role of army in government is diminishing from academic schema. But in the 1950s and in 1960s this was a serious agenda for scholars, especially in developing countries. According to Samuel Huntington, the increased professionalization of military leads to disengagement of military from politics. Social order with more stable civil military relations has countless benefits in the exploration of security. But this is problematic when it applied to Islamic World. The two core modes of government normally followed are complete military control over the government or absolute civilian control over the armed forces. There is huge cycle of circumstances of military intervention and withdrawal in major Islamic countries like Egypt, Turkey, Pakistan and Arab World. These countries have remained under direct or indirect military rule during the past. Egypt is still under direct army rule and Türkiye is continuously heading towards civil supremacy. There is a lack of power sharing formulas and a mediate approach. In our study we will analyze the existing formulas of civil- Military relations in the Muslim countries around the World.
